Learn to study the Bible in 28 days!
Today we started our new study: Lord, Teach Me to Study the Bible in 28 Days by Kay Arthur. According to Kay, the purpose of this book is “to teach you how to study the Bible for yourself so you can discover the truth for yourself.” You will learn the basics of inductive Bible study where the Bible itself is your main text instead of books about the Bible.
You will learn the components of inductive Bible study – Observation, Interpretation, and Application – as well as other study tools such as marking key words, making lists, and understanding the context of Scripture. You will also learn where other Bible study tools fit in – like doing word studies and reading commentaries.
