I love maps.
Have I ever told you how much I love maps? Well, I do. I really love maps. I can sit down and spend time reading a map just like it’s a bestselling novel. Maps are so practical. They get you places. Or they can make you feel like you’ve been to a place that you’ve never visited.
Maps also greatly enrich your study of the Bible. Getting the geographical picture of what you’re studying is so important to understanding many passages. I told you in this post about a great website with a plethora of free online study tools. One of those tools is the Atlas feature. I encourage you to check it out.
When reading a passage of Scripture, every time you come to a geographical location double underline it with a green pen (find some great ones here) and then find it on a map. You will be amazed at how much maps will enhance your study of the Word.
